MHA #2 | Tuesday Afternoon
Apr. 13th, 2021 07:30 amSo, while Annie had cooed over people's kids in the bar last night and gushed over her own, she had been mentally keeping things to the 'look how cute' side of it all, and not actually, like, thinking that hard about the future the twins had come from. It was too tempting to get caught up in whether they'd happen and what that future was like (long hair and a beard, you say, children?), and it seemed better to just...not.
Tell you what, though, it had been a lot easier to keep her mind off things last week, when she'd barely had time to think at all, let alone get all introspective and weird about anything, though it was sort of nice to, like, be capable of keeping her hands to herself and to be able to think.
Especially since Vought hadn't called her, either. But whatever -- it had gone this long since her audition with no feedback? She probably wasn't getting it.
So in order to distract herself from her possible (unlikely) future children and the job she was already steeling herself to not get, Annie was laying on Diego's couch with, frankly, the best distraction she could come up with: Buzzfeed quizzes.
"'Which two strip mall stores are you?'" she read aloud, making a face. These were really scraping the bottom of the barrel, weren't they?
It also didn't help that it was, like, really warm in here, right? Maybe it was just her.
[for the guy!]
