Annie had had work today, and while her spot on Good Morning America had gone really well, honestly -- she was getting better and better at the whole press thing with every interview -- the Make-a-Wish event this afternoon had put her in a fantastic mood. Like. Not if she dwelled on the whole...why of it, of course, but just being there and meeting so many kids whose days all just seemed made when she'd gotten there -- it was the kind of thing that made Annie feel like she was actually making a difference, not just cashing checks.

And, as an added benefit, she'd had enough time to get back to the tower and change into her civilian clothes before going down to -- gasp -- actually meet Diego in the lobby! So he didn't have to ride the elevator with some fucking weirdo she worked with on Valentine's Day, at least! (And instead, Annie just had to hope that whoever viewed the elevator security footage valued their job enough not to try to sell it to tabloids or something!)

Now, she was watching on as Diego did something that they had discussed a couple weeks back, and made this apartment just a little bit more his space, too.

"How many of those do you think it can hold?" she asked, already impressed at how well he was hiding the knives he was stashing in her chandelier. They blended right in, who knew.

[for the guy putting knives in a chandelier, of course, and NFB for distance, natch.]

"I'll remember that." And she would. Annie gave him a slow smile before reaching both arms up above her head, stretching out her entire body from fingertips to her toes before resting her hands, wrists limp, above her head. "Like that?"

Being deliberated over and directed was helping a bit with the shyness here, too.

"Exactly like that," he said, moving to straddle Annie's torso. For handcuffing purposes and because touching was going to be even more of a thing now that Annie couldn't touch him in return.

He moved to put the cuffs around both of Annie's wrists. "I'm gonna give you a little bit of give so you don't break them right away if you get...frustrated."

Annie flushed, her pupils already dilating at the contact and the suggestion she might become frustrated, and she experimentally wiggled her fingers as he cuffed her. "I'll be good," she promised softly, smiling. Mostly because she, also, didn't really want to break them right away. That was kind of the point of going along with (or, in this case, outright requesting) being handcuffed. "Or at least I'll really try to."

Depended on how frustrating he was planning to be, really.

"I know you'll do your very best," Diego teased, letting the second cuff close with a satisfying click. He leaned in to kiss Annie lightly. "Okay?"

"So okay," Annie promised, arching up to try to extend the kiss and already a little thrilled at having her hands confined. She flexed her hands, trying the chain of the cuffs both carefully and curiously. It would take some effort for her to get out, and that was pretty much great by Annie. "I'm at your mercy."

Poor her. Look how she minded.

"I like the sound of that," he said, scooting back some so he was straddling her hips. Just far enough away where she couldn't kiss him unless he wanted her to.

Which he did. But that wasn't the point of all this.

Diego reached up to lightly trail a finger lightly down her collarbone to her chest. "I'm going to have way too much fun with this, I think."

"No such thing," Annie decided, shivering a little under his touch as her skin broke out in goosebumps. His distance from her had not gone unnoticed, and it already felt just a little unbearable -- the best kind of unbearable -- to have him out of reach, and she was trying to feel out what she could use in absence of her hands.

Like, she could use her hips. See how she was trying to arch those up against him?

As much as it killed Diego to do so (it was seriously against everything he had previously known), he sat up on his knees a little so their hips were barely touching. Because he wanted to make this last, and he knew how easy it was for them to just forget plans and get to the good part.

"You have even less patience than I do."

"Well, you've spoiled me," Annie replied with a sigh, biting her lower lip at the loss of contact but holding still save for a frustrated little shifting of her feet against the bed. "I'm used to getting what I want right away."

And being told no, she had to wait, was already like, ridiculously hot.

"And giving you what you want right away is probably at the very top of the list of my favorite things to do," he said with a grin. "So this is a test for the both of us."

Though, admittedly, he had more freedom here. Freedom he was now using to unclasp Annie's bra, since somehow they were both still wearing too much clothing.

The clothing was probably helping with the patience factor, at least?

Annie arched her back, grateful to have that much freedom of movement still, and gave a pleased little hum. "I'm taking careful notes for when it's your turn, just so you know."

"I will keep that in mind," Diego promised. The newly exposed skin was a bit too much on his resolve, however, and he was soon ducking his head down to run his tongue over one of her nipples.

"That's so nice," Annie gasped softly, twining her fingers together just for an outlet for her hands, and dropping her head back. She shifted under him, wanting more and also suddenly feeling much more impatient than she already had been. "You're so nice."

He had to admit it was already kind of weird not to have her hands in his hair during this, but looking up to see her hands and knowing that's probably what she wanted to do was a big turn on.

Diego slid his other hand up to cup her other breast, just running his fingers lightly across, a nice contrast to him running his teeth over her nipple a moment later.

Yeah, Annie was already very much missing the use of her hands, and they'd hardly even gotten started yet. Even when she held him down, she was kind of all about little affectionate touches to his wrists and staying in constant contact.

This was already so different, and Annie was pretty sure she was going to maybe go crazy between not using her hands and watching him be in charge. "I already miss touching you," she murmured, giving a little hiss of pleasure as she shifted under him again.

Like, in case it was not obvious.

"I miss you touching me," Diego murmured, leaning up to kiss Annie again. "But I like this too. All you have to do is lie back and let me do the work."

She could cheat a little. Just a little! So now that he was back in range of kissing, Annie brought her cuffed hands up close enough that she could at least trace a straining fingertip along Diego's cheek affectionately. (She would have done more if she wasn't a little worried about whacking him with the chain.)

"That part's weird for me, too," Annie admitted, smiling a little. "The letting you do all the work."

She would be trying to help. She literally could not help it, when it came to sex. Probably a good problem to have, really.

Diego turned his head to nip at Annie's hand playfully. "I'm sure you'll make it up to me somehow."

"That's hot." See, she hadn't even planned to say that -- it just slipped out as a response, because Annie had had no idea until this very moment that playfully nipping at her hand would kind of do it for her. Score one for experimenting. "And yeah, I'm already planning ways to make it up to you."

Her plans would only get more detailed as time went on, most likely.

"I'm looking forward to it," Diego said with a smile. He took Annie's wrists to gently lie the back on the pillow. "Stay."

It was sort of an order, but it was followed up by Diego leaning down to kiss his way down Annie's chest and stomach so it was the good kind of order, right?

Honestly, in this position, all orders were the good kinds of orders.

"Bossy," Annie murmured, her skin flushing all the way down her chest as she tried to hold still for him and mostly managed it. "I like it, though."

Obviously. Annie was clearly loving every second of this. Hard to feel self-conscious about being focused on when every distraction had been stripped away, including her own hands.

The words of encouragement were doing a lot for Diego, and had him getting a little rougher. He placed a light bite against Annie's ribs, hoping for it to serve as a minor distraction from him smoothly sliding one of his hands along her inner thigh.

It was a distraction -- all of this was distracting, really -- but not enough of one that she didn't notice his hand on her thigh. (But, to be fair, Annie felt like she could have probably been on fire and still noticed a move like that.)

She arched up a bit, trying to encourage more of that biting (even if it was about a hop and a skip away from being a little ticklish.)

Well it was hard not to accommodate a request like that, even an unspoken one. He bit down again, a little harder this time, and followed it up with a lick after to soothe it.

Meanwhile the hand he had on her thigh moved to lightly press against her through her underwear.

"Diego." She didn't have anything else to follow that up with, just his name drifting out of her like a little plea -- though Annie was starting to be pretty aware that her words were, like, the one thing she still could use throughout this. But that light touch had just erased everything else in her head, and she was both arcing her neck up a bit so she could watch him and also very tempted to just shut her eyes because hot.

Okay, that was a note she could remember for his turn: maybe a blindfold.
