Annie had had work today, and while her spot on Good Morning America had gone really well, honestly -- she was getting better and better at the whole press thing with every interview -- the Make-a-Wish event this afternoon had put her in a fantastic mood. Like. Not if she dwelled on the whole...why of it, of course, but just being there and meeting so many kids whose days all just seemed made when she'd gotten there -- it was the kind of thing that made Annie feel like she was actually making a difference, not just cashing checks.

And, as an added benefit, she'd had enough time to get back to the tower and change into her civilian clothes before going down to -- gasp -- actually meet Diego in the lobby! So he didn't have to ride the elevator with some fucking weirdo she worked with on Valentine's Day, at least! (And instead, Annie just had to hope that whoever viewed the elevator security footage valued their job enough not to try to sell it to tabloids or something!)

Now, she was watching on as Diego did something that they had discussed a couple weeks back, and made this apartment just a little bit more his space, too.

"How many of those do you think it can hold?" she asked, already impressed at how well he was hiding the knives he was stashing in her chandelier. They blended right in, who knew.

"Only a little bit," Diego joked, cutting down on the teasing slightly by actually moving to pull her underwear off. If he had been a little more impatient they probably would have been torn off.

But he was supposed to be the patient one here, so the clothing went unscathed.

As though Annie wouldn't have been driven absolutely wild by her panties being ripped off. The patience was hot in a different way, though -- it was doing a lot for her to feel like Diego was in charge, here.

And there was a not-insignificant part of her that was responding to how sexy it was to let him. Trust was hot.

The noise that came out of Annie when he pulled away from her was not a dignified one, no. It was entirely possible that she'd anticipated an different course of events. Maybe.

That being said, she could watch this, totally unhampered, and actually sat up with her cuffed hands to give Diego undressing her fullest attention.

Diego grinned over at her when he saw that. "Aren't you supposed to be more patient than me?"

We'll see how well his patience held out when the tables were turned.

"You will get what you want," he said, crawling back up on the bed for another kiss. "I promise."

"I don't think I ever promised to be more patient than you," Annie replied, nipping at his lower lip and leaning into the kiss, just to be a little playful about the whole thing. You could credit the champagne a bit for that, but Diego had also gotten her pretty worked up already.

And honestly, she didn't believe he'd enjoy this nearly as much if she just laid there and was totally compliant about it, either.

Yeah, watching her trying to break the unspoken rules was half the fun of it.

"It's implied. I'm the impulsive one," he said before kissing her again. He put one of his hands on her shoulders to encourage her to lie down again.

She put up just a tiny bit of resistance -- again, mostly just for the show of it -- before allowing herself to be tipped back down onto her back. And, unprompted, Annie put her hands back over her head.

Maybe she had noticed that this position lent a natural arch to her back. Maybe she wanted her hands out of the way to make room for him, and help with her own temptation. Maybe she was just eager.

"You don't seem to be very impulsive today," Annie replied, smiling up at him and not being at all shy about giving him a very thorough once over.

Diego was still human, though, and his eagerness was starting to get the better of him. He settled himself back between Annie's legs, leaning down to run his tongue along her breast again. It was hard to not do it with her back arched like it was.

Annie wrapped a leg loosely around him, trying to use what she had at her disposal still to both make sure Diego really understood how much she liked this (perhaps he had not gotten it yet?) and to try to find herself a little friction, if she could.

"I love you," she mumbled, sighing as she rolled her shoulders back to try to arch a little more for him.

"I love you too," he said, leaning up to kiss her again. He placed one hand on the leg wrapped around his waist, and reached up with the other to run along one of the cuffs. "And I definitely lied, I am not that patient right now."

Annie fumbled around to try to twine her fingers with Diego's briefly, just because she wanted to see if she could.

"Good," she murmured, rocking her hips up against his as she kissed him and snugged that leg a little tighter. "Be impatient with me."

Diego kept their fingers together. He had definitely missed the touching, and he was too desperate to really enforce the rules right now.

He let go of Annie's leg briefly to reach down to line himself up against her, giving her another quick kiss before pressing in slowly.

Annie tightened her fingers in his with a sharp, pleased little gasp as she got exactly what she'd wanted for what had felt like hours.

"Fuck," she groaned, drawing the word out as she tipped her head back and angled her hips up a little, letting herself just savor for now how good he finally felt.

"Yeah," Diego murmured, fully agreeing with that remark. He leaned down to lick a stripe up Annie's neck before tilting his hips back slightly, only to thrust back in, setting up a pace that was entirely too slow and sweet for sex where one party was wearing handcuffs.

Well, it was Valentine's Day. They were romantic handcuffs.

"Fucking perfect," Annie mumbled, planting her foot on the bed so she could rock her hips up to match his movements as best she could. "I love how you feel, Diego, you're so good --"

Annie was kind of just stream-of-consciousness sharing everything in her head at the moment. By-product of being super riled up and denied her primary means of showing affection, probably.

"Fuck, you are so hot," Diego murmured, his hips jerking up a little harder against his own will between Annie's movements and her words. His free hand went back to the leg she had wrapped around him, running his nails down the outside of her thigh.

And see, this was exactly one of those times where Annie felt like she was hot -- her nerves from earlier were long gone, between Diego's attention and reactions to her, and how amazing this felt.

"Mmm-hmm," she agreed, humming an affirmative in response to his nails and trying to arch up so she could kiss his chest. She felt just this side of totally out of control -- sort of ironic, given the handcuffs -- and she wanted him just as desperate as she was. "I like that. Do that again."

Annie was going to have trouble keeping her hands off him once she got them back, really. (How sad for everyone!)

She wrapped her leg a little tighter around Diego's waist as she arched up to kiss him, loving the feeling of those nails on her thigh, and how he felt against her, and how he felt inside her, and like. She might just melt into the bed, honestly. She was kind of overwhelmed by it all, and by how much she wanted -- no, needed -- Diego right now.

Diego nipped at Annie's lip, loving the way she was responding right now. He always loved the way she responded, but this was entirely different. More uninhibited. It was pretty overwhelming, and was ensuring this was going to end sooner rather than later.

Reluctantly, Diego let go of Annie's wrist, though it was for a very good reason. Soon he was moving that hand down lower, slipping between Annie's legs to circle around her clit.

That really was the absolute best reason to move his hand, yes.

"You're going to make me come," Annie warned breathlessly, barely having the wherewithal to hold on long enough to say so. But she was determined to try to hold on, and arched her neck up to bite at Diego's chest just for a little outlet to try to divert her focus a few seconds longer. "With me?"

She needed him with her, and that leg tightened around his waist in unconscious encouragement. And also because it brought her up against his hand a little more, and Annie was pretty sure she actually saw stars for a second. Diego gave a shaky nod. He was as close, if not closer, than she was to the edge. It would not be difficult at all to do as she asked. Still, her words encouraged him to pump his hips a little harder, although steady rhythm was out of the question at this point.

"Come on," he panted. "I wanna feel it."
