MHA #2 | Wednesday Evening
After she wrapped up visiting Summer at the bar (which had not included just the one beer she had been thinking, but she still didn't think God was going to mind), Annie headed across the street to Diego's apartment. Partially because she didn't want to trek all the way across town (it was so far when it was this cold) to her own place, but also because, you know, it had been like a matter of hours since she'd seen him, and she'd been sort of busy today with training and going to church on the mainland, and she was gross like that.
She'd sent a text to let him know she was on her way, but she also called out a cheerful, elongated, "Heeeeey, you," as she let herself in.
[obviously this is for the guy omg.]

"Then we're fixing both of those," Annie decided loftily. "How opposed are you to embarrassing hats?"

Like, that's where you set the bar, Diego. This was your fault.

Five wasn't nearly nice enough to her to get that kind of privileged content out of her. Now, if Annie met, say, Klaus or Allison, that would be different.

By tossing them on the floor next to the bed, for example.

'Walk' was potentially not the most apt verb to use here.

The cursing was going to be difficult enough around him as it was.

Though really, she could count the times she had seen Diego blush on one hand, and at least once had involved Five comparing Annie to their mom. So it wasn't like she was especially counting on making it happen, either; she was more just determined not to give in on the cursing thing.
