MHA #2 | Friday Morning
Annie had been barely able to concentrate on class -- she was lucky she could tap dance pretty much in her sleep if she needed to, and hadn't attempted to make today, like, interpretive dance day -- after the email she'd gotten from Vought on her way to the school this morning.
They wouldn't have even emailed her if she didn't have a shot, right? Unless they just sent one of those out to every heroine on their roster, and that was certainly possible. But. Annie also knew that...well, frankly, Starlight outshone a lot of those women (so to speak.) She didn't win all those awards for nothing, after all.
Annie could barely think straight with the adrenaline she was feeling thanks to the sheer possibility that this opportunity might pan out, even as she was trying so, so hard not to get her hopes up. Though, if it did work out, what would that mean for her life here -- nope, not getting that far ahead of herself. She probably wouldn't get it, and there was no reason to start raising questions like that. (But she would have to move to New York, so -- there was that to consider.)
She had texted Diego while she grabbed coffee for the both of them, letting him know she was on her way over, but she still called out a, "Hey," as she let herself into his apartment, balancing the coffees and her tap shoes as she bumped the door shut with her hip.
[for the boyfriend! edit: and now non-worksafe.]

Annie did her part to be easy to carry, at least, keeping her core tight and holding onto him. Though she probably wasn't being a great help with how enthusiastically she kept kissing him, or how she kept sneaking distracting kisses to his ear, or temple, or jaw.

Also, Annie was kind of really worked up at this point, and was having a hard time keeping her hands and mouth to herself, so.

She raised her eyebrows at him as she reluctantly allowed him deal with his pants, and stretched back against the pillows to appreciatively watch.

She clearly didn't mind at all.

Probably lay there in utter disbelief, actually, at least for a minute.

And later she would, at least, look fondly at the spot on her thigh where he'd bitten her and wish for marks. Maybe she'd draw one on, just to remember where he'd been.

He may have been a tease but he wasn't cruel.

She finally removed one hand from her face to reach down and thread her fingers through his hair and encouragingly rest her hand on his head, because now that he was there, she wanted to make sure he didn't go anywhere, goddamn it. Hopefully Diego was okay with a little nonverbal bossiness, there.

Turned out bossiness was a good way to get Annie what she wanted, as far as Diego was concerned.

She pulled lightly at his hair, her free hand scrabbling around to clutch at the bedding, and yeah, maybe she'd caught on to how the bossiness worked in her favor. The secret, clearly, was getting her worked up enough that she forgot to be shy about it.

It was pretty mean to expect her to have that kind of brain power right now.

"No, I want you to come with me. Get up here," she murmured, nudging him with a foot and letting go of his hair.

Maybe he wanted wanted to see more of that bossiness.

"I need you inside me," she murmured, just before issuing a bite to his earlobe.
Maybe by the time they were attempting FaceTime sex, she'd be able to say dirty things while actually looking at him.

"Yes," she breathed against his ear. As sensitive as Annie already was, the sensation of fullness was a little overwhelming right away, and she was going to just tilt her head to roughly kiss Diego for a minute and try to get her bearings.
