Twenty-four days.

Invitations were out. The alterations of Annie's wedding dress were nearly done. Their song list had been chosen and vetted and drafted and eventually turned in.

But today, they were working on making one last, incredibly important wedding-related choice, and while Annie was fairly sure which direction they were going, it still required further research -- which was why she was perched up on her kitchen counter next to the box of cake samples she and Diego had brought home with them, idly picking at a very rich, chocolate cube of cake. Had they just spent a couple hours trying cake already? Yes. Didn't mean Annie was, like, done yet.

"I feel like I'm gonna need a bib no matter what we go with," she commented.

But she was still gonna eat the hell out of this chocolate sample, even if she was kind of thinking no thanks on chocolate for the actual thing. Something lighter. Maybe layers of something lighter.

[for the fiancé! and on that note -- invitations have totally handwavily gone out, and if you think you were invited to this wedding, you totally were.]

Diego moved to catch up to Annie, wrapping his arms around her so he could press his bare chest against hers. "Where should we look first?"

"Hmm," Annie hummed thoughtfully, sliding an arm up around Diego's neck and giving a little unconscious shiver of delight at feeling his skin against hers. "I'm actually pretty sure I didn't leave it in the bed itself."

Which was both creative as far as what was actually happening here, but also probably a good practice for theoretical, supposedly very important documents of any sort.

"But are you positive?" Diego asked, ducking his head down to mouth at her neck.

"You're making it hard to think," she accused lightly. (To think about the letter that didn't exist, yes.) But if he was going to do that, Annie was going to make it hard for Diego to think, and don't mind her gently -- but firmly -- moving to press him into the nearest wall, using her body and strength to pin him.

Well now it was hard for him to think. He was totally into this, as evidenced by the soft noise he made when his back hit the wall. "I'm just trying to be helpful."

"And I'm just trying to focus," Annie replied softly, as stern as she could manage (so not very, but she was trying.) She pressed close, reaching to get a hand firmly on one of his arms to assert a little authority and make sure Diego didn't think he could get out of this. (Though, of course, he probably could, but you know. Play along.)

The other hand was making its way down to undo his fly, and if Annie wasn't busy nuzzling along Diego's shoulder, you know where she might suggest the letter was? Probably for the best she was occupied. No one needed a gigglefit right now, because I think the letter is in your pants might well be the actual bridge too far.

That would have definitely killed the mood. But it would also be hilarious.

"You are very demanding today," Diego said, tipping his head back and closing his eyes. "Not a complaint."

"I just know what I want," Annie corrected, taking advantage of Diego's position to lean up and issue a sharp little bite to the base of his neck. With his pants undone, she wasted very little time in working them down as best she could with one hand. "The only thing I'm demanding is that you hold still."

And even then, it was less a demand and more a command, given how she was doing her best to hold him in place herself.

"I can do that." Though even as he said it he was wriggling his hips a little to help her out with getting his pants down. Which didn't really count as moving, right?

"Promise?" Annie murmured, mostly just to goad him a little. She was going to need his cooperation, anyway, considering she was kissing her way down his chest and slowly dropping to her knees.

Clearly, the best way to get Diego's pants down was to get herself down to pants level. And as soon as they were down to her satisfaction, she was putting a hand on his hip to assert that unspoken authority, lest he try to move away from the wall.

"Fuck," Diego murmured, looking down. As if he was going to miss that view. "You're going to make this hard on me, aren't you?"

"Seems like it." Look, she couldn't just not take an opening like that. Please.

Annie rolled her eyes up to look at Diego -- as though she wouldn't give him everything she could with this view -- and shifted so she could wrap her free hand around him, immediately taking up an even tempo.

Diego laughed softly, because he did bring that on himself, only for it to turn into a low groan as she wrapped her hand around him. "Fuck, that feels good."

"You're so hot like this," Annie told him, absolutely living for the way his laugh turned into that groan. She kept her hand working over him at that same easy rhythm, taking a moment to just enjoy having Diego in this position before shifting up on her knees a bit to slide her mouth over him with an eager hum and as much eye contact as she could maintain.

"Jesus," Diego murmured, closing his eyes for a second to pull himself together. They didn't stay closed for long, namely because watching Annie do this was pretty much the hottest thing on the planet.

"You are so good," Diego said, moving one of his hands to her hair, just running his fingers through the strands gently.

Annie hummed an agreement, shifting a little restlessly on her knees just because his reactions were like the hottest thing on the planet to her. That hand in her hair was doing a lot for her, and as usual, so was Diego's gentleness. (Particularly in contrast to how play-rough she was being with him.)

And thus, to that end, she pulled her mouth away just long enough to murmur, "You're not gonna move, right?" before moving the hand she was using to keep him in place away...to start working on her own pants.

Look, she could multitask.

"Not moving," he promised, sounding a little breathless. "Staying right where I am, I swear."

As if he would move and risk not seeing what would happen next.

Annie did her best to keep the movement of both her mouth and hand steady for him, swirling her tongue briefly over the tip of his cock before pulling away very, very briefly because she did, in fact, need two hands to get her jeans down.

But with that accomplished, she wasn't at all looking to stop. Without her own pants in the way, Annie was freed up to not only resume working her mouth and hand over Diego, but to send her free hand down between her legs, too.

Annie could have chosen not to reply, of course. She had other uses for her mouth at the moment, for one thing, and for another, she was busy and not a little distracted by her own hand.

But she also knew Diego almost too well, by now, and thus pulled back enough to bossily (well, breathily, but she was trying) inform him, "Oh, I definitely can," before sliding her mouth back over him with renewed enthusiasm.

Protests like that from him were not going to help her stamina, unsurprisingly, but that was why she'd started touching herself in the first place, anyway.

One of Diego's hands went up into his own hair, just for some way to get out pent up energy while also keeping his hips still. "Fuck, I'm close--"

It would surprise absolutely no one that being pushed around would cause Diego's stamina to plummet.

It was almost like she'd done it on purpose or something?

Annie gave a hum of approval, trying to maneuver so that she could hold him in place with her elbow and forearm a bit, even as her own stamina was hanging by a thread and everything was getting a lot less controlled. She kept her eyes on Diego's face, maintaining her rhythm as best she could (which wasn't that great, no, but that was to be expected at this point) and trying to ignore the pressure building in her own abdomen so she could focus entirely on him.

It helped that focusing on him was going to lead pretty fucking directly to her own release, anyway.

Diego was so close that Annie could do basically anything right now and he would come. As much as he wanted to hold out a little longer and watch her come first, it wasn't meant to be. He only lasted a few more moments before he was coming, still working to keep still even as his orgasm hit him like a train.

Which was kind of impressive, really.
