MCA #9 | Monday Morning
When Annie's alarm went off this morning, it was still dark outside, which was very normal considering how early she typically got up for training.
What was decidedly not normal was how she was in bed in her Starlight outfit, which was decidedly not comfortable, though thankfully her boots had been discarded in the middle of the floor at some point before she'd clambered into bed last night. It was also abnormal that Annie was alone in said bed, since she'd gotten kind of used to having Diego there.
That was explained pretty quickly, once she padded out to the living room and found him on the couch. "Good morning," she whispered, lightly perching on the arm of the couch and reaching out to touch his shoulder.
Hopefully he wasn't too mad about having to babysit all weekend.

Probably not shocking.

Little Annie would be very impressed by her older counterpart's tendency to use her hands as flashlights.

Like, she legitimately was not that special for having them in the first place; she was just lucky that hers were awesome.

He'd probably regret saying that.

Because please, she doubted he wanted to see her actual home. For one thing, it was where her mother lived, but also Iowa was still really boring, even with the occasional super-abled person.

Unless he was prone to motion sickness and had just hid it well before now, but like, Annie kind of doubted that. "And I'll make out with you on a ferris wheel, while we're at it." Because if he hadn't been on a rollercoaster, ferris wheels seemed even more unlikely.

Look, Annie was scared of very few things, so when she had an opportunity to claim as much and cling to her boyfriend, she was going to take it.

They'd had sex in every room of her apartment and his, so. Clearly they needed to branch out.

Even if she was being very boring and sleepy at the moment. (Though, she had her suspicions - given the sheer amount of cuddling - that Diego did not actually find this part boring, either.)
