MCA #9 | Saturday Late Afternoon

Okay, that had actually been really, really fun. It had been a long week, and she'd been pretty sick of it all by the end, but it wasn't every day you got to fight a bunch of bears - let alone a giant bear - and save the day. Even if she also still felt fairly guilty about being temporarily mind-controlled by a reindeer into fighting one of her best friends.

This week. Seriously.

Starlight was pretty ready to be boring old non-sparkly Annie for awhile, even if she hadn't dispensed with the cape and the skirt just yet. Between adrenaline from the fight and relief that they'd won (and that it had been so fun!), Annie had been basically walking on air the entire way back to her apartment. Well, walking on air while also fussing over Diego.

"You're sure you're okay?" she asked, critically looking him over again. For those playing at home - yes, Annie was the one who'd fought a Jedi in addition to the bears (and...everything) a little while ago, and Annie showed absolutely no sign of damage save for a rip in her tights. The luxury of being that tough was that you got to make a big deal over every tiny papercut that your boyfriend got, okay. "Should I get out my first aid kit?"

It really was an excellent view and the kissing made it so Diego was distracted enough that he wasn't just gawking at her like a pervert.

Though was it really being a pervert if you were the boyfriend?

No, that was what you called boyfriend privilege, since as far as Annie was concerned, he was the only person allowed to look at her like that. (The only person she wanted looking at her like that, anyway.)

"I took my tights off," she reminded him helpfully, pulling back just enough to say so. "Your turn." If he was going to tease her about trying to get his pants off, she was just going to volley that back to him. Especially since she still had a couple pieces to go, because this outfit had not been put together with easy removal in mind at all.

Diego looked down at himself because really he just had his pants and shorts left. "I'm definitely going to be naked before you."

Oh no, what a tragedy.

Didn't stop him from doing what he was asked, lifting his hips so he could get his pants off. The only marks that could be frowned over was around one ankle where Christmas lights tried to drag him away at some point.

Which was a really stupid way to get a bruise.

The stupid factor was helping a lot with allaying Annie's concern over his bruises - it was hard to get that upset about such an absurd situation, though she did totally notice and frown down at his ankle.

But she was also content to keep him in his shorts for a moment and get right back in his lap, carefully looping her arms around Diego's shoulders as she placed a knee at either side of his legs. "Better," she decided, leaning in to kiss his chest once she was back where she belonged.

"Much better." Especially since now that she was back where she belonged, Diego could touch all he wanted. Which he did, one of his hands sliding up under her skirt (was that tulle under there?) so he could run his fingers over the soft skin of her inner thighs.

That was an excellent way to get Annie's attention, if the little hitch in her breath was anything to go by.

She kissed up his shoulder and along his neck, skimming her palms down to rest lightly against his chest and feeling a little torn between how very, very gentle she thought she should be with him right now versus how impatient she was starting to get.

Yeah Diego could sense a little hesitance there. "It's okay, you're not gonna hurt me."

"You're sure?" Annie checked softly. "You'll say something if I do?"

And okay if he was giving her permission, then she was going to go ahead and lightly nip at his neck, just to test the waters a little. Considering her inclination was to treat Diego like he was made out of glass right now, she was going to be paying careful attention to his reactions no matter what he said, anyway.

"Of course," he said, tilting his head to expose his neck a bit more. "You're going to have to get used to the bruises; I get them a lot."

"I don't know if I'm ever going to get used to them, but I can try," Annie admitted, because she kind of couldn't stand the thought of him getting hurt at all, even if she wasn't going to say that out loud since it was utterly ridiculous and she knew it.

She pulled back and turned her attention to the scar at his temple, pressing a kiss there, too. "But I know it happens. You might just have to get used to me worrying about you." Though she was feeling a little better about how he was doing right now, at least.

"I could definitely get used to the attention." Especially if it ended up with her in his lap every time. As if to prove what exactly he liked about this position he slid a hand over her ass, figuring it also had the added benefit of distracting her from worrying too.

Annie didn't really need an excuse to get into his lap, since it was rapidly becoming one of her favorite places to be, but that was indeed helpful in demonstrating why he liked having her there and was plenty distracting. (God help them both if he ever had something more serious than bruising going on, though.)

"Do I not give you enough attention without the bruises? I'll have to fix that," Annie teased, arching her back a bit in response and leaning in to kiss him, a little more aggressive than she had been.

Diego smiled into the kiss, happy to have elicited that reaction. He pressed himself against her, making it pretty obvious what exactly the teasing was doing to him.

As if it wasn't already pretty evident considering he wasn't wearing pants right now.

Yeah, she'd noticed, and none of this was helping Annie with her patience though it was all making for an incredibly persuasive argument that he wasn't secretly hurt worse than he looked. She made a needy little noise into the kiss before reaching one hand behind herself to undo her belt and drop it to the ground, then guided one of Diego's hands up to the back of her neck where the zipper on her dress started. "Help with this."

At least in part because she'd have to do some weird contortions to get it down herself, but also partly because it was kind of hot to request his help.

It was kind of hot to get to do it. He liked being able to help Annie shed her Starlight persona. He also liked unzipping her dress and following the path with his fingers after the bare skin was exposed to him.

And all of a sudden, it was a lot easier for Annie to breathe and move. Sacrifices had to be made to look as good as she knew she did as Starlight, and between the rigid structure of the dress and the way it was tailored, she always sort of felt like she was corseted into the thing.

For the moment, she was content to use that newfound freedom of movement to press in close to Diego for a deeper kiss, his fingers on her back spurring her on even as she was mindful not to poke him in the chest with the stars pinned to her bust.

Diego had felt uncomfortable enough fighting in a suit and knee socks when he was younger; he couldn't imagine what it was like to fight in something as tight as the Starlight outfit.

"I think we're going to have to separate again if I'm gonna get this dress the rest of the way off," he murmured before nipping at her jaw.

"Probably." No, definitely, but she really didn't want to move away just yet, considering how interesting his lap had become in the moments since she'd first decided to position herself there. Annie felt like lightly grinding her hips down against Diego's was a good way to demonstrate that interest, eliciting a soft gasp from her even with some of the tulle in the way.

Yeah, the dress had to go. She reluctantly pulled away to stand up so they could get the dress the rest of the way off, because as much as she wanted to just stay there and keep teasing him she kind of needed more and this outfit was officially an obstacle.

Diego scooted forward to the edge of the couch to help her with the dress removal. "Help" in this case was more like "touching excessively" but he didn't think he would get any complaints on how he chose to help her undress.

Um, no, that was exactly why she wanted him helping, thank you. With the dress finally off, followed swiftly that stupid tulle skirt (it was so pretty but, like, maybe she needed to streamline her uniform if this was going to be a regular thing), Annie was left standing in her very boring, very non-sparkling bra and underwear. "Staying here?" she asked, leaning down to kiss him again. Also with excessive touching, because everyone was so close to being naked, finally. "Or bed?"

"Here," he said, if only because he was eager and didn't want to waste time with something like moving. He placed his hands on her waist, leaning in to kiss and bite at her hips since that was what was eye level with him and, really, he couldn't do that enough.

"Fuck." Okay, hello hip-biting, that was apparently a thing she was into and she'd had no idea before right now. "Okay, right here. Take your shorts off."

A few weeks ago, she would have felt self-conscious about the bossiness and the swearing and the fact that she was already unclasping her bra even as she spoke. Now, though, she couldn't be bothered to care about how eager she seemed - between the residual adrenaline and how goddamn long it had taken to get her out of her outfit, Annie felt they'd earned a little impatience.

Yeah rushed post-fight sex was probably going to be a theme with them. All that adrenaline had to go somewhere, right?

Diego really didn't have to be told twice, immediately lifting up his hips so he could get his shorts off. "I really like it when you get bossy."

Anybody with eyes could see that, Diego.

It still made Annie lightly flush from her cheeks down to her chest, obvious as it may have been. She was also wasting no time in wriggling out of her panties before reaching over to a little jar on a nearby table and flipping out a condom. (After the wall thing, Annie had impulsively put condoms in every room in her apartment just to be prepared, which also meant that the flour cannister in her kitchen finally had a use!)

"Then I'm gonna keep being bossy," she decided, lightly tossing it at him as she moved back in to straddle his legs, her hands already roaming over his shoulders. "Put that on."

God help anyone that tried to bake anything at Annie's apartment.

Diego only briefly lifted his eyebrows at the condom stash, but quickly turned his mind back to imminent sex. He opened the condom and rolled it on quickly, eager to get his hands back on her.
