So, given that Annie was planning on throwing a super-early Christmas party here in two weeks and that she and Diego would be gone next week to see her family, it was completely reasonable for the apartment to already be kind of festive, right?

Whatever, Annie said it was and would be taking no questions, thank you. She hadn't gone totally overboard yet (had to save something for when they got back from Iowa, obviously!), but she had totally just adopted the habit of putting Christmas music on when she was home, and burning a Christmas candle (it smelled like wonderful Christmas treats that neither she nor Diego were capable of baking!) and there was totally a little stack in the corner of the living room of deliveries that had already commenced for the party. The return of Christmas kegs!

Right now, she was taking things into her own hands and winding a few strings of lights through each of her several houseplants (now safely inside and off the balcony, where they'd remain for the winter), and taking extra care with the spider plant that she had no reason to think wasn't the original spider plant from last spring.

"You know what," she mused aloud, "I think the lights might need to be a permanent thing, because you guys are looking great."

"What if I said no?" he asked. "Would I get more?"

"Maybe," Annie replied, kissing her way across his chest to give the other side equal attention. "But I don't want to actually torture you."

She just wanted to make him wriggle around under her. Maybe induce a little begging.

"I think you know my limits by now." Probably even better than he did, really.

Diego bit down on his lip, squirming a little. "Tell me what you like about this. Holding me down."

She did have a good idea of his limits. And generally they tended to coincide with when she'd kind of driven herself into a frenzy with the teasing, too.

"I like seeing you like this. I like how much you like it." The easy answer was right there, and it was also obviously true. Annie was pretty flushed, and while having to actually articulate herself on this point was part of it, it certainly wasn't all of the reason why. She ducked her head a little lower, pressing a soft kiss against his ribs. "And I like how it makes me feel."

All, like, powerful and sexy and in charge in a way she just wasn't able to be normally. It wouldn't work without the trust that had been there since basically day one, either, and that was part of it, too.

Diego squirmed a little more, never wanting to admit he was ticklish but that was a...sensitive spot. Yes. We'll go with sensitive.

"You look so good like this," he said, letting out a shaky breath. "I like watching you do whatever you want."

God, one of these days she was going to figure out he actually was ticklish and not just squirmy and sensitive. Not today -- way too distracted for that kind of nuance right now -- but someday.

"I really can do whatever I want. You're totally at my mercy," Annie agreed, a bit shaky herself as she slipped a little lower to bite just below his navel and shifted her hands so she was pressing Diego's forearms into the bed again. Aggressiveness could make a return now.

"I am," he agreed, looking extremely pleased by being in this situation. "So what do you want to do?"

"I want...." Annie actually thought about what she wanted for a second here, because there was an obvious answer in terms of, like, what she was planning (and she was just gonna go for it on that front in a second), but you know -- what did she want?

"I want you to keep talking to me." And with another reaffirming squeeze to Diego's wrists to make sure he couldn't move them, Annie scooted a bit lower and slipped her mouth over him with a throaty little hum.

This might be a little tricky without a hand of her own in play, but she was kind of playing it by ear at the moment. She'd figure it out.

Diego was absolutely not complaining, but that made it a little more difficult to talk. Well, outside of a loud gasp followed by a low moan.

It took a couple moments to get his brain back online, but he did manage to speak after a couple moments. "Fuck, you are so good. You are always so--"

Whatever he was going to say was cut off by another soft moan. Couldn't be helped.

The moaning was working almost as well as actual words, honestly, and Annie wasn't expecting any kind of eloquence here or anything, anyway. She just wanted to see him try to rise to the challenge.

And plus it was kind of hot to have even more of a direct line to how he was doing, just now. She couldn't exactly ask any in-depth questions at the moment, given that she was very busy using her mouth to run her tongue along the entire length of him, swirling at the tip.

"You're so hot," she murmured, before rendering it totally impossible for her to reply any further because her mouth was again otherwise occupied.

"Me?" Diego said with a weak little laugh. She was the one who looked amazing right now. He squirmed a little more in Annie's hold, trying to keep his hips still so he wouldn't hurt her by accident.

Splitting his focus between what he was feeling and trying to hold back was just driving him crazier, honestly. "Annie, please."

Annie, who was starting to get pretty unable to focus herself, released one of his hands -- mostly because she needed to free up her own to slowly work over him while she caught her breath a little.

But, you know, she could work on giving one of his inner thighs a nice hickey while she was taking that breather, too. "Want me up there or to keep going?"

She was more than happy to stay where she was, but again with the knowing of everyone and their limits and also she was kind of going a little crazy, too.

"I need you," he panted, free hand going up to curl into his own hair. Still not touching, really. "Up here."

Annie pressed a soft kiss to the forming bruise she'd left on his leg and moved to make her way back up Diego's body, totally unconcerned with how incredibly eager she probably seemed. She'd teased him for awhile and while, yes, it was definitely having an effect on her, she also wanted to make sure he wasn't, like, literally tortured, here.

And the fact that he'd elected to touch himself rather than her when released actually kind of amazed her, even if at this point this felt like she was almost punishing herself. "I love you," she murmured, situating herself atop him again and leaning down to give him a kiss, just to regroup a little herself before giving everyone what they wanted.

"I love you too," he said softly before kissing her again. With her so close and having a hand free meant that he could resist trying to touch her this time, reaching out to cup her cheek.

As much fun as it was to hold him down, Annie had reached the point where she kind of needed to be touched, and that had her leaning into his hand with a soft sigh of appreciation.

She didn't linger long, though, because as nice as this was she also kind of needed more (and, like, just a guess that Diego probably did too.) And so with one last little stroke of her thumb against the inside of his wrist, she sat up a bit and released his other hand so she could use both of hers to line things up and carefully maneuver herself over him with a moan she didn't even try to suppress.

Look, everyone had been pretty patient, here. Moaning seemed more than warranted.

He couldn't (and would never) judge; he was letting out a loud moan himself as he felt her around him. Now that he had both hands free he was touching as much as he could to make up for lost time. He kept one hand on her face, stroking his thumb along her cheek.

Diego cupped her breast with the other hand, deciding he could be sweet and dirty at the same time.

Intermingling of sweetness and dirtiness was kind of their brand, honestly, and clearly it worked for Annie given how she was already arching against the hand on her chest and had brought a hand of her own up to cover his.

The one on her face, though, was getting a kiss pressed to its palm as she started rolling her hips, slow and steady and almost certainly not staying that way for long.

Diego groaned, lifting his hips up to meet hers, matching the slow and steady place. He squeezed her breast gently, having no intention to stop touching her now that he could.

He knew very well it wouldn't last for long, the question was who was going to be the one to break the slow rhythm first.

Annie, at least for the moment, was really enjoying the slowness since it gave her a bit of time to adjust to how amazing this all felt, especially given that she was fairly sensitive after all that denial and teasing and intent observation of Diego's reactions.

She tipped her head back with another throaty moan, reaching a hand back to rest on Diego's leg just to give herself some leverage to quicken her pace a little. Just a little.

"Fuck, you look so good," Diego panted. He wrapped one of his arms around her waist, keeping her steady as he sat up. He really couldn't stand not being pressed up against her after all the teasing. Kissing needed to happen immediately.

Oh, please, all the kissing. Annie shifted a little forward to meet him, one arm sliding up around Diego's shoulders to keep him close.

"You feel good," she whispered between kisses, trying to keep her rhythm going even as things started to feel kind of overwhelming and foggy and unfocused in all the best ways.

"So do you," he murmured, feeling more than a little needy at the moment. It was almost overwhelming right now. Diego tightened his hold on Annie, moving to flip them so he was on top.

It was going to be him that gave up on keeping things slow, surprise, surprise.

That was the absolutely perfect combination of being outrageously hot as a maneuver, but also providing Annie enough of a change that she was pretty confident she wasn't in as much danger of losing it too quickly, here.

"Fuck, I love you," she breathed, both legs immediately winding their way up around Diego as soon as she was on her back. As though a change in position would result in any change in clinging, please.

Diego's response was muffled against Annie's neck, but it was safe to say it was positive. As much as he enjoyed being teased, this what he liked best, being wrapped around each other completely.

His movements had sped up, but he still kept up a steady rhythm, pressing random kisses against Annie's neck. Just trying to savor this for a little while longer.
