The Vought American Hero Mansion | Tuesday Evening
So, that hadn't gone half-bad at all, if you asked Annie. The very first episode of American Hero had just wrapped. She had spent roughly an hour watching contestants try to curry favor and demonstrate their value to a bunch of people who probably didn't really care, she'd sincerely wished them all luck -- they all actually seemed pretty decent, to her? -- and then at the end, she had told one hopeful fellow superhero to hang up her cape and go.
Still such a dumb line. But it could have gone worse.
She'd gotten out from under the lights as soon as they'd called cut, resisting the urge to pull off her cape just yet and instead taking the bottle of water a PA immediately thrust into her hand. She needed to find Diego, who she knew was around here backstage somewhere, and hopefully they could just scurry off to her trailer sooner than later. For all that it had only been an hour of standing around and smiling, mostly, Annie was pretty ready to be out of the spotlight -- literally and figuratively.
"You did great," she told Moonshadow and Supersonic as they wandered by, smiling as the latter stopped to take another proffered water bottle from that PA and waving at the former as she kept going to her own room. "I mean, I'm not supposed to show favoritism or whatever, but just to say."
"So we're just objectively great," Supersonic contributed, grinning at her. "Good to know. You also did great, just to say."
"It's such a cheesy line," Annie offered, checking that her mic was turned off before dropping her voice to an undertone and rolling her eyes. "Like, what a way to tell someone they've lost out on a life-changing opportunity. Ugh."
"And it's discriminatory," Supersonic pointed out. "Some of us don't even have capes."
"That," Annie decided, "is a good point." Maybe enough to get a rewrite? (No.)

She did not think the Starlight uniform was especially sexy. (She did however accept that Diego found her sexy in it.)
no subject
"Sexy, but impractical," he said. "Which goes for your uniform as well."
no subject
Her uniform was practical for almost no reasons. Even her cape was kind of a bad idea, crimefighting-wise.

If anyone knocked on the door now he was gonna be pretty annoyed.

Annie hooked an arm across Diego's shoulders to bring herself just that little bit closer she could manage -- closeness and teamwork were totally both going to be factors with the cramped space and the need for quiet, but that was all very okay by Annie since she loved closeness and teamwork -- and wound her opposite hand up into his hair.
The other thing about being quiet was that she had to find other ways to communicate. Such as using that hand in his hair to bossily encourage more attention to her chest, thank you.

"Shhh." If a shhh could somehow be encouraging, that one was. Annie at least was clearly pretty pleased about shushing him, anyway, until she had to bite down on her lower lip to muffle a happy little moan of her own. (And, subsequently, a tightening of her hand in his hair.)

However he did find that shh encouraging, as it was intended. He ran his teeth over her nipple for a second before wrapping his lips around it entirely and providing some gentle suction.
This was doing wonders for keeping him quiet, by the way.

She was doing her best to keep to a whisper, but shushing glass houses shouldn't throw shushing stones, and other strained metaphors.

She was probably going to leave a mark or two on his thigh, since digging her nails in there seemed like a pretty good outlet if she couldn't make the noises she instinctively wanted to.

"That feels so good," he said, sliding his hands over her ass to pull her closer. If that were even possible. "You want to--like this?"
Position options were limited in a trailer. Oh well, they'd make do. They always did.

She did have a tiny pathetic daybed, but that was a terrible idea, considering -- "I think we have to be kinda -- slow," she added softly, ducking her head to kiss Diego and renewing her arm's position around his shoulders. "For discretion."
Nothing less discreet than an audible rhythm from outside. That might be even worse than vocal sex noises.

"We have lots of tables for you to fuck me on, eventually," she murmured, shifting her hips a little and ignoring the goosebumps breaking out on her skin in anticipation as she slipped her hand between them to line him up against her. "Great addition to the list."
And in the meantime, they could cross off 'fucking cozily in a trailer.'

Diego wrapped one of his arms around Annie's waist, ensuring that there wouldn't be any fall injuries happening. The other hand went to cup her cheek, because why not be cute and sappy when you're about to do cozy fucking in a trailer?

She didn't linger in that feeling, though, in favor of rocking her hips carefully down towards Diego's to sheath him -- and, wisely, leaning in for another kiss to muffle everyone's reaction to that new sensation.

He tried to quiet down and release his feelings in other, quieter ways. Which meant he was gripping onto Annie's waist tight and sliding his other hand into her hair. He didn't know what that would do for her noise level, but it was working for him.
