Annie was trying to be more excited than nervous today, but no matter what, the two were kind of co-mingling anyway. She might -- hopefully? -- get her wedding dress today! And she'd be filming an episode of television in the process, but whatever, that was just work, right?

And she was bringing Diego's sister. And her Fandom friends. And Maeve.

It would be fine.

And if she kept saying it would be fine, then it would be!

In any case, they were here -- along with a film crew, a gal who was not being shy at all about touching up makeup, Annie's boss Ashley (and her ubiquitous clipboard), and a bridal consultant who seemed torn between being thrilled at her big break and also like she might throw up.

"It's just with the cameras," Summer assured her, quickly, but easily, with a shake of her head and a dismissive wave of her hand, "and the lighting. They've always got to go a little extra, and aren't satisfied until they stop one step away from practically clown make-up."

Or they're distracted by, like, Thor's handsome face. Which was totally understandable.

Yeah, that was a solid effective distraction.

"Definitely some different vibes with this one," Summer agreed. "Although who knows where we'll be at the end of the day? It could get pretty rough out there."

And there was already a Crimson Countess in this universe, even if she was doing...less than heroic things now.

Although she had to admit, even though she was pretty confident she could hold her own, if any non-wedding bullshit happened, they were pretty damn well covered in that respect right now, weren't they?

Honestly with the combination of Wanda, Allison and Maeve they could probably take down Homelander and the misery of season three could be avoided. And then Summer could do all the post-takedown interviews because the three of them wouldn't want to.

Oh well.

"General wedding madness could be kind of fun." If you were thinking down the lines she was, with someone dramatically tripping while holding the wedding cake.
