On Saturday morning, bright and early - like, so, so hatefully early - Annie ventured out to make good on a stupid promise she’d made. All right, it wasn’t a stupid promise, but it was one Annie was really regretting now, because she knew how bad it had looked when she’d left. So much glitter. So many spilled shots. She herself had straight-up poured beer on the floor at least once and had to actually replace a lightbulb. Who knew what had become of the various reindeer?

Plus, she knew there were almost certainly people in there who would need carbohydrates and coffee to get through this day, just like she would. So, Annie made her way into Rey’s apartment, laid out the assortment of bagels and donuts she’d picked up and set a pot of coffee on (caf was a mystery she would ask Rey about later, but she’d noticed the coffee in the pantry before she’d broken it.) Then, she made a few trips back up to her own apartment to grab her vacuum, that glitter thing Barry had made her (bless you, Barry), a case of water bottles, and a bunch of cleaning supplies.

By the time she was done, the coffee was too, and Annie still kind of wanted to die, but at least the people waking up here would have caffeine and water and carbs at their disposal.

Cade had literally no other place to crash, so here he was, on the floor of the lanai, shirtless, drenched in glitter and cuddling a light-up snowman.

"Where am I?"

Sadly, this was normally the first question Cade asked upon waking. Cade made poor choices.

"Rey's apartment," Annie greeted him. "Want some coffee?"

She wasn't cleaning up any of this glitter until people stopped tracking it everywhere.

"And maybe a shirt?"

"I had a shirt when I came," Cade said, looking around for it and shrugging in defeat when he didn't immediately see it in, you know, the three inches he was willing to move to find it. "And I would love some caf."

"There is both regular coffee and magic space coffee, which I'm assuming is what you want," Annie told him, sighing. "Did your shirt fall off the lanai?"

So many things had.

Cade squinted as he thought. "That might be it, yeah."

There might have been an aborted attempt at a strip tease?

"Do you want a shirt?" Annie offered, reluctantly. "My boyfriend," oooh, newly-minted boyfriend, look at her just bust that out, "dresses like, just like you. I've got a black shirt you can borrow."

Or just keep, since she had literally no idea who this guy was, even.

Was it really an epic party if there wasn't some shirtless dude no one really knew there the next day?

"That'd be good," Cade said, running his hand through his hair and only just redistributing glitter and doing nothing to help the state of his head. "Thanks."

"Wait right here." Like he was going anywhere.

Annie returned a few moments later, holding out one of Diego's black T-shirts, which probably smelled like some kind of Clinique perfume because of course she'd slept in it, that was why she had it. "I'm Annie, by the way."

Speaking of poor choices...Summer had been sort of squinting at the guy who Annie had been talking with out on the lanai with that weird familiar feeling, like she'd seen him before, but she just couldn't quite place i--

--oh.

Ohhhh.

The shirtlessness actually helped!

And Summer was suddenly super invested in the coffee over this way, the coffee was suddenly very important, yes.

Cade had definitely forgotten about that until right this second, too.

Cade was 100 percent That Guy.

"See I'm not the only one that had to ask that," Jaye said, to herself? Maybe just in general?

"If you don't, you're living a life that is boring," Cade said.

Or sane. Could be sane.
